Proteus are proud to be supporting the Department of Work and Pensions Kickstart Scheme by offering a placement that will support an eligible young person to take the first step towards a career in the arts.
Proteus Creation Space is a community arts space with a varied programme of classes, workshops and performances as well as a touring theatre company. We are looking for someone that can assist the teams across all these areas to work of the delivery and marketing of this activity happening both inside and outside of the building including:
- General: Assisting Artistic Director and General Manager in the running of the Creation space. This will cover administrative duties such as updating and managing the space schedule and liaising with class and workshop leaders to practical tasks such as preparing spaces for incoming activity or ensuring the space is run in a Covid secure manner.
- Marketing: Assisting Marketing Manager with social media posts and e-newsletters as well as organising physical and digital assets for both activity in the building and out touring work.
- Youth Theatre: work with the Engagement Producer to help administrate the delivery of these classes, through communication with participants and working alongside the artistic practitioners.
