THE CHRISTMAS ELF INSPECTOR is the brand new immersive Christmas show from Scratchbuilt productions and Proteus.

Everything is just tickety-boo at Christmas HQ this year. Father Christmas’ good friend the gingerbread man has come to visit (as is customary at this time of year), the halls are decked, the presents are almost wrapped and the reindeer are fit as a fiddle!

Surely not even an audit from the Elf and Safety Inspector can dampen the Christmas Spirit amongst the elves…after all Christmas ALWAYS runs smoothly, doesn’t it?

Scratchbuilt have been creating magical and immersive Christmas shows with Proteus at the Creation Space for the past 11 years. Each Christmas, the team create a brand-new theatrical adventure where audiences follow the story around enchantingly themed rooms, where they will meet funny, colourful characters, interact with the story and take part in hands-on activities.

Tickets from £10 pp + booking fee
Every attendee requires a valid ticket.
Babies: Please note that only babies in arms under 12 months go free of charge, however please make sure you reserve a ticket for them (priced £0) so that we can manage capacity for each show.

We do not send out physical tickets, your email confirmation is proof of booking. (Please check your spam folder, if you can’t see a confirmation email).

Enjoy a delicious breakfast before the show begins in our festive surroundings, where you will meet some of the characters from the show and spend some special time chatting with Father Christmas himself!
This unique and personalised memory-making experience for your family will only be available on 23rd and 24th December and we expect this to be very popular, so make sure you book early.

Most suitable for:

This immersive show has something special  for ALL ages,  including plenty of sensory elements that even very young children and babies will enjoy as a e perfect gentle introduction to the world of theatre. Older children will delight in the narrative and interactive elements of the production and even grown ups can’t help but get lost in the heartwarming, funny story.

Relaxed Performances:

All performances are relaxed and inclusive for all,  we create a safe space where every child is welcome to step into our magical world. For parents/carers of SEN children who would prefer to attend at a quieter time, we will have reduced capacity relaxed shows, with lowered sound and light levels and a designated breakout space for those who need it.
A touch tour can be made available on request.

We are incorporating elements  into the show that will enhance the experience for d/Deaf, disabled, neuro-divergent and visually impaired audience members.

Are you a carer?

We offer free tickets to carers attending with an audience member that they care for . Please book the ticket for the attendee in the usual way online and then call the box office to arrange the carer’s ticket – this gives you the opportunity to ask any questions or make any arrangements regarding access needs if necessary.

Refunds, returns and exchanges

In the event you are unable to attend the performance you have booked for we will endeavour to exchange your tickets for another performance of the same production*, on condition that we are informed at least 48 hours before the performance (7 days for groups of more than 6 individuals on a single booking). We cannot offer a refund in these circumstances.
In the event that the performance you have booked for is cancelled or rescheduled, or is abandoned when less than half of the performance has taken place, you are entitled to a refund of the price paid.
