Hi Everyone, Helen here!

So, day one of β€œeveryone is working from home including the children”. So far, Proteus Admin Department has done PE with Joe Wicks, checked emails, supervised Maths, checked emails, worked on a Spring Topic, downloaded audience feedback project work, failed to get online for three different schoolwork websites, supervised reading, checked emails, and explored the feeding habits of the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Usually by lunchtime on a Monday, I would have done the school run, the Creation Space CafΓ© shopping, greeted and given registers to the learning and physical disability Dance Class, checked emails, greeted members of the Art Class and done some photocopying for them, and probably worked on the audience feedback project work – so that bit is the same!

It’s all a bit odd really.

So, your starter for ten today is shamelessly stolen from the excellent BBC radio series Cabin Pressure by John Finnemore (available as an audiobook – hilarious and well worth the purchase price)

Brians of Britain – without using Google!
Iβ€˜ll start you off with: Brian Cox (physicist)

p.s. We’re going to be tapping Helen up for some awesome book recommendations over the next few weeks, as in a previous life she worked for a large Publishing Company and also has some impressive music/ theatre knowledge up her sleeve!
